San Diego Elopement
Coronado Beach Elopement
Julia is originally from Germany and came to America as an Au Pair. She was absolutely loving her time in San Diego and decided that she wanted to make more friends in the area! She downloaded Tinder on her phone and met some good friends through the app. However, Matt had messaged her and he asked to meet her in person and said no, because she was just looking to make some friends while she was in the states. He was insistent so eventually she agreed to meet him!
When they finally met they immediately hit off and couldn’t stop talking to each other. At the time they met Julia only had a few months left as an Au Pair, but they decided to give it a go anyways! After they started dating they realized that they were so good together and wanted to make their relationship work.
The time for Julia to go back to Germany came and as soon as she left they started planning a vacation to Thailand so that they could see each other! During their vacation together Julia decided to come back to the states on a tourist visa and after being together again Matt realized that he couldn’t let her leave and Julia realized she needed to stay.

San Diego Proposal
When Julia had arrived back in San Diego Matt wanted her to meet his parents, but little did she know that that was the night he was going to propose to her on Coronado Beach. As they walked to the beach she saw a table and two chairs set up in the sand and as she walked toward the table there was a note written in the sand. It said, “Yula, will you marry me?” Yula is Matt’s nickname for her! She of course said yes and they took some pictures together and had a bottle of champagne and then went out to dinner with his family to celebrate.

These two were so laid back and just wanted a relaxed and intimate day with the people closest to them. They had a short and sweet ceremony on Coronado Beach by Hotel Del where Matt had proposed to her and then we walked along the beach and jetty for some portraits and to capture their love for each other.
Congratulations to these love birds and I hope you have many more adventures together!
