1. Glacier National Park
Chances are that when you think of Montana you think of the well-known Glacier National Park. Let’s be real – it’s well-known for a dang good reason! This park holds some of the most incredible views I’ve ever seen. It tops the cake as the prettiest national park in my book!
Filled incredible views, amazing hikes, and jaw-dropping glaciers this park is truly one of a kind. You can’t go wrong when choosing a place to elope here!
One thing to be aware of is that with such incredible hikes and views come the crowds. So, choosing the time of day and location you elope at is key! If you want to avoid lots of people then opt for a longer hike that will take you into the mountains and away from people.

2. Bozeman, Montana
Bozeman is loaded with beautiful locations for you to say your vows! Hyalite Reservoir would be a great option! It’s a beautiful lake surrounded by the mountains which creates the perfect backdrop!
One of the biggest highlights in Bozeman is the Gallatin National Forest. It’s home to stunning mountain views, rivers, wild animals, epic lakes and so much more! It’s a great place to go hiking for a private ceremony and all kinds of options for adventure! It’s no wonder that Bozeman is on this list of the best places to elope in Montana!
Near Bozeman is Big Sky which I have to mention! Big Sky is a gorgeous place to getaway. You can rent a cabin, go hiking, explore nature, take a ski lift up the mountains, and during winter you could hit the slopes if that’s your thing!

3. Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest
This national forest is filled with stunning mountain views!! If you’re wanting to go on a hike for your day this place is filled with so many choices. You can go camping, canoeing down a river and explore the mountains and forest to your heart’s desire!
If you want fields of wildflowers then choosing to elope at the beginning of summer will be perfect for you! You’ll have pathways filled with flowers and everything will be glowing with green.

4. Lolo National Forest
Lolo National Forest is right outside of Missoula and is home to incredible hiking trails and mountain views. If you want to see a stunning amount of wildflowers definitely opt to elope here from April-July.
There is a vast amount of wildlife, dense forest, gorgeous lakes, and rivers creating the ultimate backdrop for your adventurous Montana elopement! If you’re looking for ultimate privacy during your elopement in Montana then this is a perfect place for you!

Flathead is home to rugged peaks creating an infinite skyline, beautiful lakes, and rivers perfect for rafting! There’s one of the easiest mountains to summit here, too! This forest is so vast that you’ll never run into crowds, get stuck in traffic jams, or rush to a trailhead to get parking. If you’re looking for similar views to Glacier, but want more privacy then this is the place for you!
There are campgrounds and remote cabins you can stay at for an epic adventure. Once you come here you’ll never want to leave! You could also hit up Flathead Lake and take a boat or canoe out to soak up the sun!

A few of the well-known scenic views are the Ross Creek Cedars and the Kootenai Falls Suspension Bridge.
