San Diego County, California will always have a special place in my heart since I grew up there. I always think about the beautiful weather and the fact that the mountains, the beach and the desert are all within a few hours. I mean, I don’t think it gets any better than that! I spent most of my life in San Diego so getting to do this San Diego Adventure Session was a such a blast!

San Diego Adventure Session
Nick and Sarah have been married for two years and decided it was time to get some new pictures taken since the last time they got professional pictures taken was when they got married! I think it is so important for every couple to get new pictures of them every few years, because it can create such a fun experience that you will treasure forever. It’s like going on a date only you are getting it documented by an amazing third wheel!
We met at a hiking trail in San Diego for their adventure session and we got to explore the surrounding forest areas and hiked around til sunset! True to San Diego beauty we got a beautiful golden sunset!
How They Met
These two met while they were attending college in Virginia. They had met once at a mutual friend’s house, but they were both shy and didn’t dare talk to each other. A few weeks later when Sarah was in the library studying she saw Nick and got up the nerve to go talk to him. They had the chance to hang out a few times before they went home for their winter break and during Sarah’s winter break she got a surprise!
Sarah had received a birthday present from Nick in the mail! This was a big surprise to Sarah because she never told him her address! She thought this was so sweet and “maybe a little creepy?” They were both going through a military program at the time, and Nick was an upperclassman which granted him access to the roster and that’s how he got her address. It made her laugh, but it definitely worked on wooing her!
Once they got back to school they of course started officially dating and the rest is history!
